Alex Linch - Executive Committee Member

Alex Linch joins the Travel & Tourism Foundation as a Senior Member of the Executive Committee and Member of the Advisory Council. In this role he will contribute to define and implement the Mission, Vision and Strategy of the Foundation. Alex will be initially working between Geneva and Bangkok.

Alex Linch brings to the Travel & Tourism Foundation 25 years of experience in Business, IT and Quality Management, with several UN and nonprofit organizations, as well as private sector companies.

Formerly, in charge of the EMEA’s Public Sector Market, working for a world leading company specialized on delivering digital identification solutions for e-government applications. He was a member of an engineering team working in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA) and Swisscom to develop and implement a satellite based network for worldwide environmental monitoring (MERCURE/UNEPNET).

Prior to joining the Foundation Alex has been on the management and supervisory boards of several foundations and private companies. Alex was born in Buenos Aires, speaks 4 languages and has a degree in Computer Systems Engineering and a Masters degree in Quality Management.
